Eating poorly and just trying to ride as much as possible
Where’s your favorite place in town to go ride? In the world?
I love riding the five mile stretch of Forest Ln from my house to 75. And haven’t ridden enough places yet to determine where in the world yet.
Do you have any inspirations or heroes?
Family and friends inspire me and are my heroes. Can’t really model myself after someone I don’t know.
What’s the stupidest/most embarrassing thing you’ve done on your bike?
During my first few months of riding I made the transition from 46/18 to 46/15. I did so the day of my first alley cat so that I could ride faster, not thinking that I wouldn’t be able to stop. Was doing ok in the race till I fell a little behind the the group I was pacing. Got to an over pass the first light turned yellow and I barely made it through. I knew the other light was going to change so I got on it hard to try and make the light. Well the light changed and I figured out I couldnt lay down a skid so I just stayed on it and motioned to get traffic to stop only one car leaked out into the intersection as I neared and I tore the side of that car up. 3 grand in damage to the car. But I was fine and more importantly so was my bike.
